This webshop is operated by Shyrdam, registered in the Netherlands.

By accessing our website and/or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Products

Shyrdam sells handmade shyrdaks (traditional felt rugs).

As these products are handmade and resold artisanal goods:

  • Each rug is unique

  • Slight variations in size, color, or pattern may occur

  • Small irregularities are part of the traditional craftsmanship

Product images are presented as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary depending on screen settings.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in EUR (€) and include VAT (BTW) where applicable.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct pricing errors

  • Cancel orders in case of mistakes

  • Refuse fraudulent or suspicious transactions

Payments are securely processed through Shopify’s payment providers.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We ship within the European Union. International shipping may be added in the future.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and may vary due to:

  • Courier delays

  • Customs inspections (for non-EU shipments in the future)

  • Force majeure circumstances

Risk of loss transfers to the customer at the moment of delivery.

5. Right of Withdrawal 

In accordance with EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason.

Conditions:

  • The product must be unused

  • The product must be returned in its original condition

  • The customer bears return shipping costs unless the product is defective

Refunds will be issued within 14 days after we receive the returned product.

6. Returns & Defective Products

If a product is damaged or defective upon delivery, you must notify us within 48 hours after receipt.

In such cases, Shyrdam will:

  • Replace the item where possible, or

  • Provide a refund

Normal wear, improper use, or damage caused by the customer is not covered.

7. Product Use & Care

Shyrdaks are made from natural wool. Customers are responsible for proper care and maintenance according to provided instructions.

Shyrdam is not liable for damage resulting from:

  • Improper cleaning

  • Exposure to excessive moisture

  • Incorrect storage

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to:

  • Product photographs and videos 

  • Text descriptions

  • Logos

  • Branding elements

is the intellectual property of Shyrdam and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent.

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

Shyrdam shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of profit

  • Improper use of products

  • Allergic reactions to the products it sells 

Our liability is limited to the purchase amount paid for the product concerned.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is not permitted under Dutch law.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By using this website, you agree to the collection and processing of personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Dutch law.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
